Terms and Conditions

Last updated: August 6, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Motivector website, online store, customer accounts, and related services.

The website and store are operated by:

Motivector Inc.
Oakville, Ontario, Canada
Email: kyle@motivector.ca

By accessing the website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the website or place an order.

1. Store information

Motivector sells hardware, fasteners, threaded inserts, T-nuts, maker supplies, tools, kits, electronics, 3D-printed products, and related components.

We aim to provide clear product descriptions, specifications, compatibility information, photographs, prices, inventory information, and shipping terms. Product information should still be reviewed carefully before purchase.

Contact kyle@motivector.ca before ordering if you are uncertain whether a product is suitable for your application.

2. Eligibility and customer information

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when placing an order or creating an account.

You are responsible for:

  • ensuring that your email, billing, shipping, and contact information is correct;
  • maintaining the security of your account credentials;
  • reviewing your order before submitting it; and
  • notifying Motivector promptly of unauthorized account activity.

You may not use another person’s identity, payment information, or account without authorization.

3. Product descriptions and compatibility

Product photographs may appear different depending on lighting, display settings, production batches, or normal manufacturing variations.

Measurements and specifications are provided as accurately as reasonably possible. Minor variations may occur unless a specification or tolerance is expressly guaranteed.

Customers are responsible for checking product dimensions, thread sizes, materials, quantities, electrical requirements, fit, and compatibility before ordering.

References to third-party equipment, brands, machines, standards, or ecosystems are generally provided to describe compatibility or intended use. They do not imply sponsorship, authorization, endorsement, or affiliation unless expressly stated.

4. Prices, taxes, and currency

Unless otherwise stated:

  • prices are displayed in Canadian dollars;
  • applicable taxes are calculated during checkout;
  • shipping charges are shown before the order is submitted; and
  • the final order total is displayed before payment.

Prices, promotions, inventory, and product availability may change without notice before an order is accepted.

If a product is listed with an obvious pricing, description, or configuration error, Motivector may correct the error and cancel or decline the affected order. Any payment collected for a cancelled order will be refunded.

5. Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the listed products under these terms.

An automated order confirmation acknowledges receipt of the order but does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted. Motivector may review an order before accepting or fulfilling it.

Motivector may refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including because of:

  • unavailable or insufficient inventory;
  • inaccurate product or pricing information;
  • suspected fraud or unauthorized payment;
  • an incorrect or incomplete delivery address;
  • shipping restrictions;
  • unusual quantities suggesting resale or misuse; or
  • circumstances that make fulfilment impractical or unlawful.

If an order is cancelled after payment has been collected, the affected payment will be refunded.

6. Payment

Payment must be made using an available payment method shown at checkout.

Payment processing may be provided by third-party services. Their own terms, privacy practices, security procedures, and eligibility requirements may also apply.

Motivector does not guarantee that every displayed payment option will be available for every customer, device, location, or transaction.

7. Shipping and delivery

Available shipping methods, charges, and any free-shipping thresholds are displayed during checkout.

Delivery estimates are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise. Delivery may be affected by carriers, weather, holidays, service disruptions, address problems, or other circumstances outside Motivector’s reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Additional costs caused by an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address may be charged to the customer where permitted by law.

Contact kyle@motivector.ca if an order appears lost, damaged, delayed, or incorrectly delivered.

8. Local pickup

Where local pickup is offered, customers must wait until the order is confirmed as ready before attending the pickup location.

Pickup instructions, availability, identification requirements, and timing may be communicated separately.

Orders not collected within a reasonable period may be cancelled or otherwise handled after attempting to contact the customer.

9. Returns, refunds, and cancellations

Returns, refunds, damaged products, incorrect orders, and cancellations are governed by the published Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

Nothing in these terms or that policy limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

10. Installation and use

Many products sold by Motivector are components intended for installation, modification, fabrication, repair, prototyping, or integration into a larger system.

Customers are responsible for:

  • selecting the correct product;
  • following appropriate installation and safety procedures;
  • using suitable tools and protective equipment;
  • checking fasteners, electrical connections, tolerances, and compatibility;
  • determining whether professional assistance is required; and
  • complying with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and manufacturer instructions.

Products must not be used in a manner that is unlawful, reckless, or materially inconsistent with their intended purpose.

11. Product safety

Inspect products before installation or use.

Do not use a product that appears damaged, defective, incorrectly sized, or unsuitable for the intended application. Stop using any product that develops signs of failure or unsafe operation.

Small hardware and components may present choking or injury hazards and should be kept away from children and vulnerable individuals.

12. Customer accounts

A customer account may allow access to orders, addresses, payment methods, downloads, and account details.

Motivector may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary because of fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, security concerns, repeated payment disputes, or material violations of these terms.

Account closure does not remove obligations arising from completed or outstanding orders.

13. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • interfere with the website, checkout, accounts, or connected systems;
  • attempt unauthorized access to data or accounts;
  • introduce malicious code or automated attacks;
  • scrape, copy, or exploit the website in a manner that harms the service;
  • submit false, deceptive, abusive, or unlawful content;
  • use the website to violate another person’s rights; or
  • use purchasing systems to commit fraud or evade restrictions.

14. Intellectual property

The Motivector name, branding, website design, original text, graphics, photographs, product designs, documentation, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Motivector Inc., unless otherwise stated.

You may use the website for personal shopping and legitimate business purchasing. You may not reproduce, sell, republish, modify, or commercially exploit Motivector materials without permission.

Third-party names, marks, images, specifications, and content remain the property of their respective owners.

15. Third-party services and links

The website may rely on or link to third-party services, including payment processors, shipping carriers, authentication providers, social platforms, and external websites.

Motivector does not control all third-party services and is not responsible for their independent content, availability, policies, or conduct. Use of those services may be subject to separate terms.

16. Website availability

Motivector may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue all or part of the website where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, technical, legal, or business reasons.

Continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free access is not guaranteed.

17. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability, warranties, conditions, rights, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by law, Motivector is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from improper selection, installation, modification, misuse, incompatibility, or use of a product outside its intended application.

Any limitation in these terms applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

18. Privacy

Personal information is handled according to Motivector’s published Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Payment details may be collected and processed directly by payment providers rather than stored by Motivector.

19. Changes to these terms

Motivector may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The current version will be published on the website with an updated revision date. Changes apply prospectively and do not retroactively alter an order already accepted unless required by law or agreed with the customer.

20. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from relying on mandatory rights or protections available under applicable law.

21. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

22. Entire agreement

These Terms and Conditions, the Refund and Returns Policy, the Privacy Policy, the product listing, and the information presented during checkout form the agreement concerning an order.
